Match Format & Rules

Playing Surface: indoor 4G artificial turf Suitable footwear: astro boots or moulded studs only. NO screw-in studs or blades please
 
Game Format: 6-a-side. 50 minutes one-way (no half-time). You can of course bring a squad of players of any size. 
 
Rules: Normal Association Football rules apply except i) Goalkeepers are allowed to pick up back passes ii) No offside rule iii) Unlimited substitutions allowed iv) Goalkeepers to stay within their own area
n.b. Players are permitted to enter and score in the goalkeeper’s area.
 
Kit: The Street Soccer Academy Rep Team will play in an all red kit. If you are planning on wearing a team kit please avoid red shirts, if possible. Bibs will be provided should there be a colour clash or for teams not attending with a kit.
 
Equipment: For teams that have them available please bring your own First-Aid kit.
 
Refreshments: Teams should bring their own refreshments as none will be provided (Team water bottles can be filled on site in the changing rooms). Catering is available on-site, during limited hours, in the arena cafe.

Additional info: After your match we would be obliged if you and your team would join us in the ‘Presentation Area’  in order that we can formally thank you for attending Soccer 24 and to present each of your players with a chance to hear a little more about the work of Street Soccer Academy. This will take no more than 3-4 minutes.
